In 2024, a group of individuals came together to participate in the 10-week Pinal County Hispanic Leadership Institute program. Throughout the program, we had the opportunity to connect with inspiring local leaders and built meaningful relationships within our community. What began as a room full of strangers quickly turned into a supportive network that celebrated each other through every challenge and success. We laughed, we cried, we learned together, and became one another's biggest cheerleaders along the way. At the conclusion of the program, participants were encouraged to give back through a community service initiative. It was through this initiative that my journey began - creating a conference dedicated to uniting and empowering women in our community. From that vision, Hijas de Fuerza was born.
